Day one, a double
Bolt the two frames side by side for one wide bed on full plywood decks.
Need the floor back? Stack it.
Slot the four connectors into the posts, lift one frame on top and bolt it down. The same two beds become a bunk.
Twice the comfort, half the space
The ladder hooks onto the front rail and the guard rail clamps to the top bunk. It needs the floor space of one single bed.

Bolted joints mean the bed comes apart cleanly, so it can move house and change shape as your family grows.
